Camporee at Cutler

The troop went to our district camporee at Camp Cutler on the 17th and 18th.  They started with a night hike into the campsite (because we're that awesome) while all the other troops just drove up and unpacked their gear.  Saturday there were games to play and things to see, and when the boys got bored we went on a hike.

The games were lame according to some, but they look like they're having fun.

Christian is always smiling:)

Concentrate!!!

King of the World!?

He looks...heroic.

Beautiful fall colors.  They hiked up to the overlooks right before they left.

Contemplative moment.

Very contemplative

Here's the campsite.  It was a great time.

Thanks to the adults that pitched in and made this possible, especially Brent for taking the pictures.

Visit to Strong Radiology

Tuesday evening the troop visited Strong Memorial Hospital's Radiology Department. Brother Jared Christensen, a radiology resident at Strong, led the troop on a behind the scenes tour and discussion of all things radiology.

Some of the highlights included seeing X-rays of a hand that had been caught in a saw,

Christian has a little testing done,

and Kristoffer gets some work done on his neck.

Thanks to Brother Christensen for a great evening of Scouting.
